Submission Guide Lines
Summary
Looking for informative and interesting articles that are relevant to the bead and jewelry market. This includes, but is not limited to the areas of history of beads, how beads are used (in jewelry and elsewhere), design, jewelry history, business of beads, artist profiles (yours or others), teach profiles (yours or others), display of personally produces items (beads and jewelry for brag page), book reviews, etc. All articles can be submitted via e-mail, we do request that pictures be submitted as e-mail attachments and not embedded into the documents. By submission of your article/project it is assumed that you have read the following terms and conditions.
Terms and Contiditons
BeadBabe Publishing reserves the right to edit the article, take new photographs and add additional photos or drawings as deemed necessary. BeadBabe Publishing will hold the copyright to the edited and published version of the article (the WORK). BeadBabe Publishing may use any part of the WORK for promotional purposes.
BeadBabe Publishing may offer a PDF of the WORK for sale to non-subscribers on the BeadBugle.Com website, www.beadbugle.com, or on www.beadbabe.com, or any other website it may subsequently own, be sold to or license to sell the WORK.
BeadBabe Publishing may also include the WORK within a collection of articles offered for sale as a printed or e-book or in some other collected form. In this case, you will be paid a one-time fee of 10% of the original offered payment of the article and will receive a free copy of the book or collection.
Your rights and responsibilities:
You retain ownership and copyright to the piece and the project, including your original manuscript, photos, and illustrations. You may make and sell your piece, teach classes, post your original pictures of the piece on your website.
If you wish to use the WORK as published by BeadBabe Publishing as a class handout, you agree to notify BeadBabe Publishing and to display the words: “This article originally appeared in BeadBugle.Com, www.beadbugle.com” prominently on the handout.
After publication in BeadBugle.Com, you may submit your original manuscript, the piece, or a photograph of the piece to other publishers, contests, etc., after a period of three (3) years from BeadBugle.Com publication.
You are responsible for notifying BeadBabe Publishing of changes in your address so that future payments (if any) can be made to you.
You warrantee that the piece is your original design and that you own the submitted manuscript, photos, and illustrations and have the sole right to sell them. This warrantee will hold harmless BeadBabe Publishing in case of a suit for copyright infringement. You accept sole liability in such a case.
